This chart illustrates the latency over time of a third-party messaging system run on two different servers. The red line plots the messaging software's latency on standard Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 out of the box. And the green line shows the same messaging software's latency when running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 with the MRG Realtime kernal installed. As this chart shows, the MRG Realtime kernel significantly improves the determinism of this messaging application.
